Peter McKeegan is a seasoned insurance professional dedicated to providing solutions to companies with unique management and professional liability exposures. With nearly 40 years of experience in the insurance industry, Peter has built a reputation for his creativity and commitment to his wholesale distribution partners. Prior to forming Tara Hill, Peter held management liability leadership roles at Hallmark Financial, Ironshore, American Safety, Arch Insurance, and AIG, in addition to starting new MGAs focused on the wholesale channel at ANV Global Services and Axcelera Specialty Risk.
Brian McKeegan is an experienced management liability underwriting professional who joined Tara Hill in July 2024. Prior to Tara Hill, Brian was an underwriter at Berkley Professional Liability for nearly four years. A graduate of Emory Law School, Brian previously was an attorney at Genova Burns in New Jersey.
Max Shimkus is an experienced underwriter of Management Liability and Miscellaneous Professional Liability who joined Tara Hill in 2025. He previously worked at Aon Re as a Professional Liability Facultative Reinsurance Broker. He started his career at Hallmark Financial and transitioned to Core Specialty when it acquired Hallmark's E&S operations in 2022.
